dude this is getting embarrassing to read. I mean its a cool jacket when its just sitting there but Its ruined by you being a massive unlikeable asshole. TBH you look like an abercrombie-dad who picked up a beat up antique jacket and threw it over your bro-douche mall-brand apparel and thought becasue it was expensive and 'vintage' it would earn you some kind of street cred.

That fact that you just said "street cred" on a style forum says it all...

Those RRLs are great for niche subculture pieces, especially the last one with the skull on the back. You turned a lot of people off by presenting them as like the apotheosis of the leather jacket concept, which they definitely are not.

Maybe posting fits that do them justice - i.e. not flip flops and sweat pants - would do a better job at showcasing them

 

From now on, i'll just hang them and capture.  Was just trying to show the jackets, not sell an outfit.  

There's just nothing really awesome about that jacket. It's a standard design with some ugly patches and is beat up pretty badly. The skull design is pretty cool, I guess, but it's not the be-all end-all you're toting it as. You came in here with a bad attitude and it's going to taint every exchange you have here for some time.

thanks man.  It's from RRL and I believe it's from 205-2006 season.   There's actually a "small" available for sale now on eBay.  I am a 38" and the medium fits real snug.

The thing is a Neil Barrett jacket, hence the astute comparison to another Neil Barrett jacket.

I really like the bomber he posted earlier, jackets definitely aren't my style but hey. The "hipster, your rent blabla flipflop FatxlRose!" was some crazy rant though and, for better or worse, he looks LA as fuck. Anyway keep posting jackets, that's the goal of the thread.

Not comfortable wearing items with actual military insignias (1st Cav) when I haven't served.

this thread is dominated by RO/Julius and the like, and those are fine jackets, most ppl on sf are not fans of big logos or brand names to begin with but once you start telling sf how much you paid for the jacket it just makes things worse because then not only do sf folk think its a bad jacket but then we think you wasted cash on a bad jacket,

my advice is just drop it and move on, you can't force people to like your clothing/style, if you like it then enjoy but don't expect people to agree with you
