Anybody have experience with redying a leather jacket with a bad sun fade?

I Tried on the red one, but it was the super waxed canvas one that felt like pleather. Fit terribly on me.

This one is actually pleather I just found out. So it feels like shit?

I actually did this to a leather jacket of mine. The process was not too hard. I was lucky to have a black jacket, the color wasnt has hard to work with. However, if you have gray or brown, it may get tricky.

Redying a uniform colour isn't particularly taxing or expensive, assuming you live someplace civilized. I've done it a few times with boots. It's only challenging when you're trying to change one part of the clothing or footwear to perfectly match another.

How is the quality/ durability of Surface to Air leather jackets?

I purchased an All Saints jacket on deep discount a few months ago and recently tore a huge hole in it while tackling a bush. Examination of the damage made me realize just how poor the quality and durability of the leather is, so I'm looking to step it up.

Problem is, I'm pretty rough on my leather, I need something that can withstand things like...tackling bushes. Is S2A decent or do I need to go TOJ calf?
