i never hang my leather jacket, just leave it flat tint

I use a beefy hanger that came with my attachment jacket that really lets the shoulders fall naturally without creating any pulling. I think the hardest thing with these hangers is finding one that's narrow enough. All the ones I find in stores are suited for size 40+ suit jackets.

Have established a new policy for the TOJ I just got that the only acceptable storage method is a crumpled heap on my floor. My MMM is currently in the closet on a wood hanger and my Yigal is hanging from a peg hanger on the back of a door. So, no particular set method.

i have started to store them all in garment bags or ccp bags so they can breather a bit

True the hangers I use goes past the shoulder seams but are also thin enough that it leaves a mark and misshapes the leather, it goes back to normal after wear but I am afraid it might become more permanent after it's been hanged through the whole summer.

what kind of garmet bags do you use?

i stored my margiela long term in one of those dry cleaning bags they stick over your suit when you get it back from the cleaners. clear plastic saran wrap ones

Wondering if I could get some sizing help here in regards to purchasing a leather jacket. I'm interesting in buying the Phillip Lim that mellowfellow is selling, but it'll be my first leather, and I'm not sure how sizing generally goes.

mellow's measurements are:

"shoulder to shoulder: 17.5 inches
pit to pit:18.5/19
sleeve to cuff: 25
length: 23 inches"

I'm generally a small in most brands, M in BoO, and although mellowfellow says that the Phillip Lim runs TTS, the measurements look really tight to me.

My s2s is about 17.5", and my p2p" is about 19" or so. So by the measurements, it looks like the jacket will be skin-tight.

Additionally, compared to ToJs of comparable shoulder width, it looks like the p2p is a lot more constricting on the Lim (ToJs of 17" shoulders have 20" p2p).

Any idea if this piece will fit me? Any help would be appreciated.
