I agree it's not worth paying $1,000 for any leather jacket unless it is genuinely some bespoke, top-tier designer stuff. Still, shearling leather can reach pretty close.

The Balmain biker is pretty iconic and I'd be willing to pay around $800 for it.

Re: RO. Their leather jackets can be pretty versatile and definitely don't demand a full-goth outfit to work. Yeah, Stooges arms are long as are most of the jackets', but in terms of design it's probably the most minimal and slimmest of its kind out there. Saint Laurent's riders are a good option too

Just did. Seriously, that jacket is nothing special and I am confident that anyone can find a similar and cheaper jacket that they would be happy with. $1000 for a black double rider? lol

hey guys, thanks for your advise.

With RO it´s the same...have to pay around 2000€ for a new one and 900-1000 for a good second hand (grail).

If you add the custom for US import ...so approx 1200.

I checked some allsaints and was not impressed...To be honest checked for temple of Jawnz and Julius right now...but found nothing similar to a basic biker without belt...

Very hard to find anything... I could maybe get the mentioned Balmain for 900€... so I don´t know...

If you think it´s foolish I have to think about it clearly...

Devil's advocate: If it's your grail and you can afford it, just get it. A grand for a balmain leather is not out there. TBH, you'd probably save more money in the long run if you end up reselling vs Falcon.
