South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island are the 2 best shopping destinations in OC, check out the stores there. You can also check out Cloth and Metal in Costa Mesa, I remember they had Schott's.

Need some help in how to size a cafe racer with minimal thin lining and only having chest measurement to go with (can't try IRL). I have two options, like a 2nd skin with about 2" between own and jacket's chest (1" for half measurement across), or is that too close and option B) 2" (then 2" space for half msmt.) were better?
With a rigid canvas bomber the latter is definitely better for me. With a cafe racer leather I have the gut feeling it's the former? How do you size yours?

It was the Nordstrom at South Coast Plaza that I went to the other day.  There was nothing there surprisingly.  Just a couple of passable black leather jackets and that was it.

Did you check out other stores there besides Nordstrom? There are a ton of menswear, some even affordable.

Yes, I went to the other stores but they didn't have what I'm looking for.

Does anyone have experience with Matchless leather jackets?  How's the quality compared to Belstaff?  Where can I buy them in the US?

I wrote a thread earlier in the year trying to find unique café racer/motorcycle jackets other than the typical Moto wear that is bulky, ugly, and poorly designed.

Well, I just landed my M1 jacket by Pagnol. This shit is unbelievable and sometimes forget it's even a real moto jacket as the design, quality and fit is absolutely insane. Interior elbow, shoulder and back inserts for protectors intact. Seriously will be wearing this on my rides, as well as everyday wear.

Received my 2013 calf 5-zip a couple days ago. Fits good but the sleeves end right above my thumb knuckle when zipped up, a tad long for my taste. Considering getting the sleeves shortened

Yeah, they fit a bit long. I've been considering having mine shortened a couple cm as well, should be pretty easy to do as there is nothing special about the construction

wouldn't the cuff zippers be a problem?

Got this over the weekend. 60s Brooks leather jacket from Detroit, MI. A few questions bellow.

Why is the patina on the sleeves different? like uniformly different? much more fine creases in one compared to the other which is much more smooth.

Skilled leather tailor can move them up the sleeve if they can't take it in at the shoulder
