fashion comes full circle. The "really bad" looks an awful like the "really good". That really ugly jacket up there with the veins looks alot like the other really ugly veiny CCP jacket that people here masturbate over.

CCP scarstitch doesn't have those veins and is made of horse so drooling over it is fine

I've been drooling over it for years.  One day, things won't keep on getting in the way of my getting one.

You wouldn't be wrong.  MA+ is really stone age workmanship - it's on purpose and part of the appeal, but still, a $2K+ statement about modern construction methods is a bit much for most people, especially when you have to wear that statement.  While the visual of clothing disintegrating as someone walks across the desert is cool, it could be a bit much when really, you are just commuting across SF to your tech job.

Right having a 2k+ jacket falling apart on me won't lead to happiness

Also idk if I'll want to commute to work in an ma+ with a backpack on, that will look odd. I've been leaning to non leather jackets for that.

I know this thread is for leather jackets but I could not find one for non leather/cotton jackets, about this one, anyone knows where to find something similar?

Looks like a fleece that mountain hard wear or north face would have.

Only a couple japanese retailers got it and I've only seen size 2, i think its either 328,000 or 348,000 so US retail probably closer to 4k-4.5k

What you guys can say about Theory outwear quality, I have heard some bad things but I really like the clean look of their leather pieces like this one. Can you guys name good minimal brands that makes clean products like this one.

It's not terrible, it's just not particularly interesting in any way.  Frankly, for a very simple jacket like that, You might consider contacting @luxire (or are you guys using @LuxireStudio.) We created a moto shape that is not too unlike that, and you could easily get a jacket like that using the MTM system they have, and to your specifications (http://www.styleforum.net/t/518949/luxire-and-styleforum-leather-jackets-official-thread).  Otherwise, Schott makes a very similar jacket (https://www.schottnyc.com/products/cowhide-casual-racer-leather-jacket.htm?catID=5) that is frankly, both less expensive and less generic

Get the viridi-anne horsehide jacket if you can find it in your size.

Oh yeah, that.

Nice.  I found that it fit snug on the arms and shoulders and chest, but was a bit loose in the waist.  ymmv.
