Not too orange ... if you want to disguise yourself as a traffic cone.

That's certainly something.

Anyone have experience with letting arms out on leather jacket. Got the green vanson jacket and the upper arms are a bit too tight. I'm going to get the tear repaired so figured I'd see if arms could be let out. Something Johnson leathers would do? I can fit my arms into sleeves but can't really do much more, rest of jacket is perfect.

No experience, but wouldn't letting out any part of a leather jacket just show holes?

Was thinking maybe they could remove the lining or something like that?

Might be able to do it so that the holes are hidden on the underarm?

If it doesn't fit that well, just let it go. I doubt removing the lining will do much in alleviating the tight arms. And I don't think having those holes on leather will look good, hidden or not.

I suppose if the lining is thick enough, it might matter. Only you and your tailor could know.

Obviously a little skeptical of letting the arm out the more traditional way. Don't know if it would even be possible, even if you're were OK with the holes. I imagine leather jacket manufacturers don't build in seam allowances into leather jackets since they don't imagine anyone letting out leather.

Pretty good deal on this KKA leather on Yoox right now, considering free returns / exchanges:

Couple of SF members bought it and they didn't like it. It's in the Recent Purchases thread I think.

Seems like blue-ish leather jackets are all the rage here.

I'm one of the people who tried out the jacket. I liked the leather and hardware, but not so much the fit. It might work better for someone who's slender and doesn't have a significant drop. I found the chest, shoulders, and arms to be a bit snug but the midsection down to be oddly loose.

Although I don't know the exact make it's a very common style called a Cafe Racer. It's deliberately very fitted and with minimal detail to allow a motorbike rider to hunch right down with low wind resistance. The style gets it's name from the UK café racing scene in the 1960's. It's a good style for Kirk to wear given his love of motorbikes in the reboots.

Hey guys, so I have a Schott 654 Cafe Racer jacket I picked up a few years ago.  Love it, however I'm currently wearing it with my black sperry slip on driving mocs when I go out.  So I'm debating on pulling the trigger on a pair of shoes.  I'm just curious which one do you guys think goes more with this jacket.  I'm debating between a pair of these wolverine 1000 mile boots or these Ferragamo Chelsea boots which are both on sale now at Nordstrom.  I was wondering which would work better with this coat.
