Maybe you have a long torso? I know I do and the back especially makes it look like a bolero jacket with the way it drapes.

Not sure if anyone saw, but 3Sixteen is unleashing a Schott collaboration tomorrow. Bit of a revamp of the 519, looks pretty good.

Hmmm, maybe. However, I do think that the drape has more to do with it. The older 5 zip I tried had a considerable amount of flair in the back, which made the jacket look even more cropped than it would've done otherwise.

I have this too.  This style of jacket is the template for any number of leather jackets sold on the market today, in any style, from LVC to Poell.

Onitaps is that the one on grailed that sold for 550? I woulda copped but I already had a black one (albeit dyed haha), I can't believe the price dropped that low before someone picked it up

Why yes it is, surprised myself when it dropped that low.

It's a size 52 maybe thats why no one picked it up, if it were a smaller size than it would've been gone a lot sooner.

Not really a SF-friendly designer, but picked this up recently. Best fitting perfecto I've ever tried on. I have wide shoulders and tiny waist so it's hard to find anything that isn't either frumpy or else feels like I have a straight-jacket on. Slightly longer than the usual super cropped perfecto fit. Nice thick calf that should break in well. Can't wait to actually be able to wear it, which might be a while here in NYC.

Looks good to me.

That Amiri leather jacket looks great.. Outside of like, that awesome jacket, I'm not a fan of the style, but the construction on his stuff looks damn nice. How is the jacket? I don't think anyone on this forum has posted any his stuff

The Amiri leather is great. I agree that most of his stuff is pretty over the top, but this piece is great. The leather is very substantial, but also has a great drape/fit. Like I said, it's hard for me to find a good fit being 6'3" and a 50-52 in tops and 46 waist. All of his stuff really works for me fit-wise. This jacket sits so well on me, and the leather feels like it will age amazingly.

I also have a silk bomber from last season, and just picked up some of the knit cotton/cashmere striped tees this season (which aren't tattered to shreds thankfully). Everything is super nice and fits well into a lot of my Rick/Haider/SLP fits.

Great pic! Seen this jacket in many colors for many years, blue and white and black and red, on sale and then not. Great design but always seemed like a very boxy, non-tapered, short fit. Is that true?

How should I be caring for my leather jacket if it does not get a lot of wear?

On the other hand, from browsing websites it appears I need to break in the jacket if I want to avoid the jacket making squeaky noise.

That's gorgeous, not my size unfortunately, would have jumped on it immediately.
