Unionmade has a Golden Bear DR this season with laces. FME, they usually work with the company to get more fashion-friendly fits.

How do you guys tell the difference in suede quality? Or suede is just suede?

Technically speaking, higher quality suede will be reverse calf, not split grain, but honestly I think people should just feel an item and decide if they like it.

X-Post Luxire Affiliate thread:

Luxire functional multi-zipper jacket constructed in black soft goat leather and detailed with custom tanned soft goat blue leather.
Lining: leopard print silk.
Heavy duty zippers : #10 no, Talon nickel finish

To each his own. Some of you may find the styling too loud.

This does showcase our abilities to bring together the best of leather, trims and workmanship to create a jacket with utmost detail.

Hey all!

I was wondering if anyone has a reliable lead on a service which can whip me up a custom suede bomber.

I've been fiending for the ss13 Visvim suede piece for a minute but

a) can never find anything approaching my size and

b) don't like the fact that it's unlined

So if anybody knows where I can take matters into my own hands, on a budget of say ~$900, let me know! I'm looking for this style/colourway so it needs to be a custom job - I already got in touch Falcon Garments but it was too off-piste in terms of colour/pattern, as I expected.

Thanks!

For one off projects like this, Johnson's Leathers might be your best bet: http://www.johnsonleather.com/

You will have to do a lot of directing though.  And frankly, you may have to do the project more than once to get it right.

They have patterns already for a slim fit  raglan sleeve varsity.

picked this up for less than a c-coin at a thrift shop in East Williamsburg. Looks a tad wide in the pic, though note the zipper placement. Originally from Barney's CoOp

Great steer - associate JL more with those heavy black rider's jackers so hadn't occurred to me at all.

Thanks guys! Let me know if there's anyone else who comes to mind for the sake of comparison but will be in touch with JL in due course.

Found this website on reddit providing 40$ coupons and ordered from there reluctantly.

I just received my first order that is lamb leather jacket from elochi.com

Wasn't expecting much to be honest and was expecting hidden costs as free shipment on 155$ order wasn't realistic. BUT all happened to be true lol.

Jacket's real cost was around 185$, used coupon code LEA40 to get 40$ off (not sure if the coupon is still active)
