Well, yeah.
But that wasn't quite meant to be the focus of attention. Haha.
It's the only place I have a full length mirror.

Fits you nicely. How will you accessorize?

I agree, your closet is boss!!

Wow, do you take care of that closet yourself every day? You surely have someone helping you out - solid work.

The leather itself certainly, the lining, maybe not...

@estranged, I agree with others who have recommended waiting. However, I know from my own experience that it can be extremely difficult, bordering on impossible, to develop one's own taste/understanding/expectations without actual consumption, and without intermediate steps - even though in a year or two you may well end up wanting a Rick Owens jacket for $2000, I doubt that a thousand posts on here will convince you to buy one now.

I think that at the price point you are considering for a first jacket, Yoox is your best bet. I would look for smaller, second-tier Italian or Made-in-Italy labels on there (Cover Orciani, Herno, Hogan, Peuterey, lot78, Les Hommes, or simply filter for "leather jackets" and see what's there). A lot of those brands' jackets retail for around 1000 euros full price in the EU, but on Yoox easily fall to below 500 (granted, now is not the best time as one Yoox sales cycle has just ended). They won't be the same quality as the super-high-end jackets people discuss in this thread, but they will be far above All Saints, Be Edgy (even that name, come on...).

My first-ever leather jacket was a Tommy Hilfiger double-rider (500 euros full retail, bought on Zalando for 150). I don't have it any more and I doubt I would still wear it if I did, but it was a necessary first step before I could move on to other brands/price segments.

+1. Gotta learn through spending unfortunately when it comes to fashion.

@estranged - see reasonable quality second hand leather jackets on Grailed quite often for between Eur500-1000 - you should consider that, I just did that and picked up an Acne Studios leather jacket for 400ish GBP the other week while on vacation. Will expand more in next msg.

Well thanks!
I'm thinking the jacket would probably go well with jeans and suede chukkas or suede penny loafers. Or perhaps light to mid grey flannel trousers and a nice pair of dark brown open laced boots (in suede or calf).

Well, I stay alone, so everything at home is pretty much DIY.

There's no Grailed in Holland :D

Anyways, I went to checkout few jackets today and saw Deisel cowhide jacket, it wasn't pre-distressed and looked quite good, for 460 euros. Was not very comfortable in my shoulders though.

Then I went to specific leather jacket store, but again over there they have only these fashion pre-distressed jackets, everything for 200-300 euros.

Grailed is a website, just google it.

Anyway, I think you should read up on the this thread a bit - that's probably the best thing you can do to learn the basics of what people here tend to like in leather jackets. As many have already pointed out, the jackets you have posted are not what most people in here are after, so you won't get much help when it comes to them I am afraid.

agree, i think i am starting to understand what kind of jackets you guys are into.

The thing is, these jackets will cost 800+ euro brand new and online shopping, or even Grailed as you mentioned would mean that i cannot try the fit and will be buying purely on looks. I think fit is very very important in a leather jacket. What happens when i purchase jacket for 300+ and it's not comfortable..

Just cut to the chase. Buy a RO jacket, MMM 5-zip, and send $800 to Drew Keith and you'll have covered 95% of the outcomes of people in this thread.

Crap. I just realised how inappropriate that sounded.
Let's forget that statement and focus on leather jackets.
Lol.
