Great stuff guys!

Here are a few phone pics of my recent DH piece. Very soft black calf with an all leather interior (no lining).

looks nice, lamb skin?
Thanks, yes lamb. Made in France, too, which is somewhat unusual (mostly Made in Italy).

Is that considered the softest? (I can't imagine softer, really.) I would expect I should be extra careful, but any other care tips I should know before wearing much would be helpful, as I can't take it off!

I know this isn't the typical style jacket in this thread but I was hoping you guys could let me know if this is too big in the shoulders? I thrifted this for 15 bucks and while the suede feels great and the weight of the jacket is exactly what I was looking for I'm a little worried about the fit, and not sure if the style fits me.

I was going to see if I could find a tailor that works with leather and bring in the waist a bit, maybe shorten it a couple of inches if he felt comfortable with it. But I posted asking for some pairing advice on another forum and they seemed to think the shoulder were outside the acceptable range so I'm now a little concerned that it's a lost cause.

Also I wore it out a bit yesterday and the suede started to shed on my jeans is this typical?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

It does look baggy overall but for $15 bucks I'd just hang on to it until the day it fits or just flip it for something that's for you

Agree, the shoulders are just hanging off of you. I'd just flip it.

15 bucks! I'd take it for 60 😂
But yeah, on the suede falling off issue, some of my suede jacket does that too. Anyone has a simile issue and how do you guys solve this?
