Right now since its so stiff, it feels really boxy... I'll post some pics of me wearing it in a bit. The leather looks amazing though...

You can use mink oil to condition/soften it but take note that it will darken the leather a bit too, as most leather conditioners will.

Is there a brand you suggest? And is there like some kind of tutorial thing on how to go about doing it? I've never conditioned leather before and have no idea how its done. I've read somewhere that people initially cleaned the leather before conditioning. Is that necessary? Also read that people first condition and then use something to shine it... I've just heard so many different things that I have no idea what to do.

Yea, its a nice looking jacket. I was starting to doubt the wisdom of this forum (by assuming it was all kids interested in ninja looking jackets). The logo does kill it for me though. As for the grain, Im unclear if that is because of the lighting of the photo or the nature of the jacket. Honestly the unevenness of it appeals to me to a certain extent.

Well, if the leather is dirty or dusty then yeah you'll want to clean it first or just wipe it down or dust it off, depends really.

As far as applying the conditioner well use a clean flannel cloth and rub it in gently, start with a small amount and go from there, and the shine after conditioning is more a matter of taste, say if you're conditioning some leather shoes then maybe you'd want to buff them to a shine afterwards but not necesarily want that on a leather jacket, again its personal choice, I dont even buff shine my shoes let alone would I want a shiny leather jacket, I preffer a dull or matte finish.

As for brands just off the top of my head theres obanoufs and moneyswoth & best.

We're not all gothninja kids and really theres no offense intended, and honestly its not a particularly ugly jacket, theres just nothing notable or special about, to me it looks just like any other bomber out there which, by being brown particularly, just gives off an old man look.

Yea Im sorry I didnt mean that to come across as it did, I realize we all have different tastes. Personally Im in the market for a relatively plain bomber jacket, so Im mainly looking at that one and the ToJ one. I want something simple but nicely proportioned. The logo is rough though

^ Agreed mate, that is fine (sans logo) if you're just looking for a relatively plain bomber jacket.
