I've owned both a 626 as well as the Schott x UO Beatdown Perfecto. The cut between the two jackets is identical so if you try on a 626 and like the fit, expect the same thing from the UO jacket. As far as quality goes, the Beatdown version feels slightly lighter than my original 626. It is hardly noticeable (and could just be mental), but I feel like there is a subtle difference. Personally, I prefer the Beatdown Perfecto's simplicity in comparison to the traditional 626.

Here's some poor quality photos.

The left is a Supreme/Schott Flight jacket from 2012, the right is my Schott x UO Beatdown Perfecto.

Normal 626

And my Supreme/Levi's Leather Trucker which I regrettably sold.

That trucker looks fucking beautiful. Calf leather?

Yep. It was a great jacket, I have big-time seller's remorse about letting it go.

I want to check out the schott X urban outfitters jacket in person. Only thing I'm thinking is that the model on their website is 6'1" and wear a medium. I'm like 5'8" and so I'm getting the arms will be too long on me.

what do u mean? I gave him body measurements and used another jackets measurements combined with his suggested measurements to figure out what I wanted to do. It's just my first time getting a jacket m2m and I'm not sure if I picked the right measurements...but we shall see.

I've been on the hunt for another leather jacket.  I love the history behind the Schott company as well as the quality.  Unfortunately their fits just dont fit me.  I tried on the Schott x UO but don't like how its cut longer and that its not a cowhide.  I recently heard about the Schott 613us in Japan.  Its the original 613 one star but with more of a slimmer asian fit.  I've been reading good stuff on it and just placed an order for one.  I'll let you guys know how it fits once it arrives.

Side note, I really considered a Lewis Leathers lightning jacket, but I've been reading reviews on poor quality.  Maybe one day I'll get a chance to go to the actual store in London.

I owned a lewis for a second and the quality was fine, but its very much so a true moto jacket. Wearing it for fashion looks ridiculous, its much too wide and cropped and bulky

I dunno if it's a different fit but the ones in Japan for very slim and modern

The ones sold in Japan have the T in the model number, for "tight".

Not all of them - the regular is also popular "over there". The T-fits are not that different in measurements actually - mostly in the upper sleeve, shoulders and body length. I was surprised they were actually so similar in fit...

Ah, these mysterious bad reviews. :)Where did you read them? I've been searching for a while, but can't seem to find any...

I assume this was a stock jacket? Otherwise you could've gotten the slimmer and longer, adjusted for your body type. I wear my 391 all the time with denim and a shirt, T-shirt or sweatshirt and it looks great imho. Not much difference between mine and the looks of a fashion item like a TOJ/Falcon. My 2 cents of course...
