where is a good place to discuss about jacket design? (I'm trying to learn a few things about designing my own jacket, specifically leather jacket)

It's really very cropped. Not a fan of the suede panels.

LL jacket came in. Since I know that several on SF have had interest in LL and that they are pretty hard to come by, I've attached a whole lot of pics within the spoiler below. Now, if you're not interested in seeing pics of me in this jacket in a variety of (pretty similar) angles, don't click the spoiler. For all you others, I hope you like what you see.

Any questions, just ask.

Leather looks awesome. For my tastes, the sleeves are just a hair short.

I think that's because the sleeves were zipped all the way in almost all those photos. Here are some shots with the sleeves halfway zipped.

I personally don't think I would want the sleeves any longer than this (YMMV).

This is phenomenal, nice pick up. Looks great in the fit, too. Will be interesting to see how it evolves with wear.

I'm interested in the horse blazer you posted, too. I see it on the Lift website (I think) but not the specific photos and detail shots you posted. Is there a blog or some other website with more info? Are those Lift's photos?

What was the sizing like, hoodog? Did you go the mtm route or was this a stock jacket. Looks perfect to me

Here's the blog link but not much info on it, I'm still trying to figure out if I should go 46 or 44

Very, very nice. I think the sleeves are the perfect length for anything but riding in the jacket. How's the leather compared to other jackets you might own? From the look of the sleeves, it looks like the type of cow (steer) that will develop some really nice creasing and character. I think you did really well with the sizing, and the length is spot on for this style. (If you had taken photos with a tucked in shirt a few people here would have told you it was too short, but I think you nailed the fit all the way around.)
