FWIW, the united arrows perfecto is something I picked up when it first hit sale and is one of my favorite jackets for the price. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again, the quality and cutting is very nice. Keep in mind it is also very cropped, which required me to size up making it a little bigger in the body than I would like. Uses butter soft lamb skin, riri zippers, bemberg lining.

I'd love to see how it looks like now. I'm a bit worried over the lapels. IMHO the lapels are what makes or break a leather jacket. For instance am not a fan of SLP or CDG double riders because their top lapels are almost horizontal. Most cheaper jackets also have the same issue for me. They should ideally point down, so that when it's all zipped up with the bottom lapels the top lapels actually look like regular collars, if that makes sense.

How does that look unzipped with the bottom lapels open?

Sorry just took that off the net. I believe that's a Schott 613US or 613UST/USS, so it should look like these. Basically what I'm trying to say is that Schott pretty much got the cut and angles of the lapels correct in my mind.

Here's another one from Japan. Digawel double riders with white zippers.

The black one still available here. http://www.diverse-web.com/products/detail18190.html

The reason they're pointing down in your pic is because the jacket is fully closed. Many other jackets will do the same.

Man the jacket already hangs low enough as it does, think I'll just gain the muscle until the jacket becomes really tight lol. I was a lot more buff a year a go, time to get back in to it I guess...

Jacket looks sweet, clearly the people here have diff tastes to ordinary people outside lol. Been getting props for it other than the size issue, gonna be returning the small one.

Actually you're right it should point downwards. I guess what I meant was when the lapels are flat on the ground or unzipped. Notice how the SLP's top lapels are almost horizontal? Here's what i mean.

None of those jackets are fully closed so it's impossible to compare the collars.
