Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned? - Page 927

That's a tough one, as they often creep into Dad jacket territory. Bottega Veneta occasionally makes a supple, soft leather bomber such as that, which is still lean with high armholes, but not RO skinny. wink.gif I say occasionally, because it's not a permanent collection item.

Burberry makes a classic bomber jacket similar to that, but the quality is not "Best" level (e.g., made in Turkey, garish check pattern in the interior).

@dieworkwear will not be happy that I linked this, but you're welcome.

Thanks spaghetti, u might have helped me find it! Looked around, found a mandelli for about 750$ online, very similar and really beautiful. Just love it, the clean classic lines with no fuss, butterly soft leather.. I am gonna make an offer for it. I am in love.. in love with a leather jacket. I fear some of u have felt the same, the fear of finding something nice online, worth the extra dollar, maybe up to 1000$, wondering, is it the right size. Delicate one.

It's a size small. I'm hoping it fits, but if it doesn't, I assume I can just toss it on eBay and not lose too much money.

Mostly got it cause I really like StyleLikeU's feature on Tay Trong, although he actually rides a motorbike and his jacket looks suitably beat up. Pretty sure I'm just going to look like a poser.

Get a bike.  We'll form a gang.  Have I said that before?

It's a great looking jacket. Probably the best moto I've seen. The zip angles are perfect.

I actually really want one. Thought about building a cafe racer, but it seems like the more practical step is to just buy a bike, learn how to ride it, and use it for a while.

Anyway, even if I rode a bike for 10 years, I would still look like a poser.

Have you taken the MSF class?  That's probably the best first step.

Nah, you wouldn't.

I haven't, but I've looked into it. If I got a bike, it probably wouldn't be until the end of this year or early next though.

I took this class a few years back.  Can confirm it's worth the money and time.  It's about 4 hours classroom instruction with a written test followed by 2 full days of skills instruction with a skills test at the end.  Pass both and you pass the class.

And if you live in certain states (like PA) it's free.
