Do you know what's the difference between the eYe collection version and the seemingly mainline version?

^ iirc the mainline used z150 and the eye used firenze, I think thurston bros confirmed this at some point in the collab thread, but dont quote me on that

let us know how it works out and please post a fit

If you mean the difference between eYe and normal Junya, eYe is all collaborations.

Been pretty fun seeing your jacket come together, thanks for sharing. You mind if I ask where you are? Not often you find a workshop to do this kind of custom work in the places most SF members are located

Thanks!

I live in East Java, Indonesia :)

they only have local hides to choose from, but enough for my need. Already so happy my doodle can be made into reality.

I saw my first baller jacket in the wild today, at a suburban mall no less.

Guy in Dick Ovens Bauhaus fit walking with his touristy parents, probably not from Brisbane.

Looks really cool. Very clean (can't get behind the tipped quarters, but gives a ninja vibe, so props). Must be nice to be in control of the whole process of making your own leather jacket.

Btw: is it just me or does the neck opening appear fairly small?

thanks :) the collar is quite snug, but the front part is exactly at the hollow of my neck, while the back is higher, so it doesn't bother at all, there is even some space if I hold my head slightly forward like this

btw this leather desperately need conditioning, don't know how many years it has been left stacked in their inventory. This is a quick photo before they installed all the piercings.

I think the elongated front is just too extreme. Even if you wanted to keep it, bringing it up an inch or so would help, IMO. Cool stuff.

It's certainly very interesting seeing your jacket come together even if I'd never wear it. The fit on that neck is the sort of thing that's impossible to find in an off-the-rack jacket. Details like that really stand out on custom pieces. Looking great!

neck, shoulder, chest, and back are my favorite areas of this jacket :)

I still want to ask them (or do it myself) something to the waist and upper sleeve.

I want something stiffer probably rolled leather to be installed inside along the side of my waist (glued to the suede would be enough probably so it won't show stitches), so it could give some support and functions as a spring to keep the waist silhouette clean.

at this stage nothing can be done with the bottom part since it has been glued from inside and pierced, with this thin leather I'm afraid it will stretch & look worse, that photo was taken with the bottom of the jacket being closest to the camera, I'm sure from another angle it looks better.
