Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned? - Page 916

Superficially it's a Lewis Leather's Lighting, but some details seem a bit off, so it might be a "tribute" to that jacket by another maker. Often a missing label in older jackets that are otherwise in good shape is intentional. Main zip looks like it might be a replacement and front pocket should be smaller chain pulls? But you never know as companies changed even classic models so many times over the years, or things are special ordered. Otherwise it looks good on you so enjoy.

Edit: agree that it's TT - it's a LL Lightning clone.

Yeah it does appear to be TT leathers. The jackets look way better on google images than on their website, anyone know more about them?

edit: apparently no relation to the tt leathers in canada

The main zip does seem like it could have been replaced, the rest are all pretty heavily tarnished.

So Indiana Jones, I understand you take it personally that I don't like your shitty jacket.

Dr. Jones who perhaps can prove to us the genius that he is.

@dieworkwear you know JL leathers in SF can make you a junya like that, it will cost 800-1000 depending on the leather.

Yea, I'm just a little cautious of going into a custom order with a maker I haven't seen much from. RTW is a bit easier to do, since you can always send the jacket back if you don't like it, but MTO or MTM seems iffy unless you've seen a lot of stuff from the maker you like.

Thurston seemed to imply you could work with them to get a custom order in, I'm just guessing you'd have to pay the extra custom fees for it along with the wait time.

The jackets a good deal either way but I just don't see myself spending more than $900 on a Moto at the moment so I'm hoping at some point the project will come together

Yea that's the risk. I prefer to have a return policy as well.

What are you looking for specifically in a moto jacket? If you want a slim fitting minimalistic moto, I'd recommend an Aero Board Racer (http://cdn.styleforum.net/c/c2/500x783px-LL-c2d45baf_JasperBoardRacer2.jpeg) or a Himel Bros Kensington (https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/57/ed/40/57ed40ac8f8042f206f8369170a311a9.jpg)

I like those, and was considering them for a while, but decided to go for something a bit more aggressively styled.

I ended up just buying the Junya x Vanson piece from some guy online. Hopefully it works out.
