Welcome to the club!

How does the leather for this iteration feel?

I like this jacket a lot (Golden Goose).

And I'm in a bit of a dilemma whether I should get BLK DNM 5 or TOJ DR which I will be required to wait a couple of months. I don't mind waiting since I will probably wear it during the winter, certainly not anytime soon. Does anyone have any experience with BLK DNM leather jackets and how are they  when compared with TOJ?
I would appreciate it if anyone can suggest me something else within the same price range (~1000 USD) but could be a bit more

Take a look at the Vanson / Thurston offering if you are looking for a double rider, or for a more Cafe style, the SF / Johnson Leathers design that is about to be revealed. Both are going to be well constructed with high quality leather, in your price point.

Please rethink this purchase. It looks pretty bad designwise, like something a mid life crisis dad buys to be "trendy." It's a pretty ugly hybrid of peacoat styling in leather.

I rather like my mid life crisis jacket thank you very much. Maybe my suede vintage Coach Jacket is more your style?

With two layers of heavy leather in the front, it rarely looks good on most people. Go with a trimmer waist style and a front zip.

Sage advice thanks Gus!

I have a thing for Peacoat's and they handle the two layers way better in wool than in leather.

Fok,
Is there any timeline for this jacket?

Thanks,
