which set of measurements should I believe?

or namor's? I'm in the exact same boat, p2p looks good but s2s seems just a tad wide. Also would maybe prefer a cleaner jacket without the front zippers but what do I know.

NAMOR's is a 54. That is a 52.

I understand, and they have roughly the same measurements. There's also another 52 with a much smaller p2p here:

yeah, this. the design is such that the seam falls a little off the shoulder. this is why i prefer 5 zips in heavier leathers, the drape is better

Really like this Orvis Coronado, but one knock against it is it's not tapered to the waist. I'm a pretty thin dude so that might be an issue. Have you guys ever successfully had a thick leather jacket tailored, or is tailoring a leather inadvisable? I've never owned a leather. Thx.

I've had a few leather jackets tailored both regular weight cowhide and a 2.5-3.0 oz horsehide jacket. I recommend find a good motorcycle leathers repair shop for this type of work.

blerrrgh. Don't remind me. That scarstich price is nuts. My gf will understand if I cancel our vacation for some leathers made by an Austrian lunatic right? I showed her the page from the booklet that came with my boots that says how many were made, 04-012, and she said "wow, I bet those cost a few date nights." frown.gif
