Paper denim sizing question

I recently visited Barney's New York in Seattle to try on a couple of pairs of Paper Denim & Cloth jeans. I found the 31 to be the best fit, and I wish to purchase a pair off of ebay. What I am wanting to know is weather or not Paper Denim jeans will fit the same from style to style, or if a "slim fit" style will also be slimmer in the waist...ect. Also, can anyone explain the logic behind their style names/codes? It seems very complicated. P.S. If anyone knows a good ebay seller to purchase Paper Denim jeans from please let me know. Thanks.

Most of the models seem to fit on the slim side anyways, so you should be okay. However, the model you are looking at could be an exception. It would help to know which models you tried on, and which model you are looking at.

I believe it was a "LTD" - I believe both pair I tried on were the same cut, just a different wash. Im not positive because I liked one wash more than the other so I didnt pay much attention to the second one. As for the model im looking at there are a few I found in the same size, One is listed as "LTD", another says "2-TAT-71", One is "ICN" and one is "GTO." I found info on most of these at the Paper Denim website, except for the one listed as "TAT" (I am assuming the three letters is the cut since the others correspond with the ones listed on the Paper Denim site) Thanks for your help.

I actually think that Paper Denims (and I've tried most of the models - all the jeans in current rotation now are PDs) fit relatively large in the waist compared to, say, Diesel and Seven. In my experience, all the models fit about the same in the waist and differ mostly in the rise and the fit at the seat and thighs. The GTO's have the lowest rise and the slimmest leg (still not that slim) and the LIT's have the widest flare, IMO. The ICON fits rather loose through the seat and thighs, as do the LTD and TAT models. Check out the site (www.paperdenim.com) for all the variations.

In my experience the PD&C's definitely feel looser in the waist than other comparable jeans of the same size.

By far the best prices (except on deep discount at places like Filene's basement, where they get gobbled up in literally hours) is at Jasmine Sola on Newbury Street in Boston. It is a women's store, but they sell men's clothing. Plus, they have a 10% off coupon on their website, so a pair of $150 (usually about $162 in every other state) jeans are now $135. Not cheap, but cheaper. Bluefly also usually have some. I would not recommend Ebay. Most of those jeans are factory rejects, and you never know what you are going to get. And the sad thing is, the prices they fetch don't warrant the risk (unlike, say, getting a pair of Lattanzis for $100).
