Pictures, perhaps??

I received mine yesterday. I've tried them on and the fit is VERY nice. The shoe itself is also very elegant.

Can't wait to wear them!

moras are great. I wouldn't change the buckle, they look fine as they are. I don't have problems with creasing since mine are suede. One of the finest AE designs of recent years.

I got four wears out of a pair of suede Mora's before the strap with the buckle tore off.

I have a few pairs of AE's on the same last that fit well, the Mora's were not a great fit.

Just wore my suede Moras for the first time today and I have to say, they're much more elegant in person. I love them, and so did everyone else; I've never received more compliments on my shoes than I did today.

I get the most complements from my brown sharkskin Saratogas.

+1.

After reading this thread I share in the concern that the top strap is somewhat weak. Most monks have elastic where the strap meets/is attached to the upper. The Mora does not.

Nonetheless, I love mine and get many compliments on them.

Anyone know of any outlet stores that may still have them in 7.5 D?

Can anything be done to prevent strap from breaking?

Don't wear the shoes.

+1 on the suede mora being a great looking shoe. Too bad the #8 last doesn't work for me.
