Midcentury Furniture Resale/Consignment Stores in Chicago

In Chicago, THE store for high-end contemporary design is Luminaire. They carry Cappellini and the like. Definitely worth a visit, but of course prices are very high.

I haven't been shopping for vintage/MCM design in Chicago in quite a while, but I've always liked Modern Times: http://www.moderntimeschicago.com/info/info_store.htm. The Broadway Antique Market (http://www.bamchicago.com) always has some booths with modern design. And of course, there is Wright, the important auction house (http://www.wright20.com).

Luminaire is fantastic. Ask for Michael--he's really, really helpful.

Post 27 on Grand Ave, as well as a couple of places up on Clark in Andersonville (around 5200 N)
