I was so glad when I heard that they finally decided to get away from the "new" Batman. I've been wishing for Micheal Keaton to come back and do it right for like ten years now. I think the new batmobile is sort of lame, an SUV? Seriously? But whatever, I might just be assuming the worst because Batman movies have this horrible tendancy to be gimmicky and lame. All I gotta say is  Ken Watanabe as Ra's Al Ghul... Gary Oldman... Micheal Caine... Katie Holmes... ... crosses fingers and hopes for the best.
Yeah, this movie looks like it's going to be good. Since its a prequel I can sort of forgive the way the Batmobile looks. The Keaton films were the best. I was really into Batman when I was younger and watched the first one at least 100 times. This one looks like it returns to the darkness that the series needs. I mean, he is called BATman. Lets hope, fellow bat fans.
Yeah, Tim Burton was the main driving force, but Keaton was good, probably because he was unexpected. I think Aronofsky started working on another film, or didn't make it further in the running. But insead of him it's Chistopher Nolan, who did a good job with Memento and Insomnia, so there is a lot of hope.
Bradford-- As I understand it, Batman was supposedly a student of the sword and multiple martial arts (and possibly apprenticed with a magician, as well) in his quest to become his alterego. Interestin, no?
