have you not read his posts? hes all down with the "any guy can get a girl, you have to know how to control them" bullshit. hes stated it many times. he also put up links to videos of these guys proving how true it is. he also talked about the guy who supposedly made out with a girl while she was holding her boyfriends hand. these guys actually make me want to puke, they have serious deep down issues, and it all stems from an incredible lack of self esteem. theyre a walking text book of psychological issues.

These guys are actually pretty good. I saw them in NYC once and they did a good job of getting cute girls interested (I don't know if anything came of it, though). Even one of my friends was "smitten" but she actually knew who Mystery was beforehand.
But even though this style may work, the whole concept on a high level strikes me as needy. Why develop entire systems to get laid? I mean, it's just getting laid. Hopefully that isn't the most important thing in people's lives. The fact that they are making money off of it is commendable (no less commendable than someone making money trading stocks or selling a product), but for people who live by this stuff without making a profit, I feel a bit sorry for.
Besides, meeting girls is more fun when you just wing it instead of analyzing everything.

Does anybody else think calculatingly manipulating someone for sex is morally wrong?
I'd rather be single for life than sink to such a depth of low self esteem as to consult some guide to tell me how to 'pick up' a girl. I watched that video, and I can't believe any girl I've ever been interested in would do anything but laugh in the face of those jokers, unless their 'method' is hypnotism and rohypnol.

I dont think theres anything wrong with the concept of seeking to rationally better yourself at meeting girls.
Weve all done it among friends. When we started going to clubs or in school, wed talk about stuff we did wrong, how we should have acted, etc....
Some people have it naturally, others have success among the type of girls they go for, and others just suck at it.
And yes, theres an age where girls are everything to a guy, and its pretty devastating when he doesnt have much success in meeting them. And yes theres a time where guys just want to go meet random girls to hook up with, theres nothing wrong with that and i think its a normal phase to go through, or even stay at. Surely its not any more ridiculous or silly than the concept of monogamy.
About these guys, well they made me laugh too, specially the blong guy. But tbh i once read online a ross jeffries (sp?) "routine" that he used, and out of curiosity repeated it to a girl i knew, she kept texting me for 2 weeks asking what i had "done to her", it was somethin that was supposed 2 create sexual attraction or whatever, and it worked... So maybe they couldve stumbled unto a few concepts here and there, if anyone is looking for such stuff.
As for these guys, when that thing i read worked i tried to read a few more aarticles, and what i think it boilds down is this
Guys who follow them are shy nerds, and what they learn isnt those techniques. They just put themselves out there, thinking they have this magical potion, and most of the time putting yourself out there with a group of friends is enough by itself. Experience will give you confidence and make you less fearful of rejection, etc.... Plus an added false sense of confidence with the prepackaged lines and whatever.
Id think these "gurus" are very likely to be either distrubed emotionally or just con artists, but that doesnt mean one shouldnt seek advice, maybe analyse what hes doing wrong, etc...
I remember reading a guy saying "Walk slow, like you have your own pace and dont follow crowds" and another saying "walk fast like you have a destination to go to, youre an active busy guy". Get a "loser" to do either, and hell prob be walking thinking hes the shit, instead of holding his head to the ground and thinking hes shit. So as long as the guy isnt a total mess, he can benefit from it even though it can be made up crap. Think of it as dating placebo.
Girls that go for this may not be my idea of a perfect partner, but as i said theres a time when going out with girls to have fun and hook up is important too.
