That isn't the OP's problem, though. It's is, however, why I suggested seperate bills in the first place.

usually if I go out to eat with a group of close friends, the bill comes out and we split it evenly. doesn't matter if you ate the $15 entree and I ate a $8 dollar salad, unless of course someone came just to hang out and ordered a drink, that person is told to put their wallet away. and the guys pay for their significant other. if I go out to eat with a group of acquaintances, I think it's common to do either separate checks or we're splitting everything evenly. but of course if someone orders an abnormal amount of food, people should own up to it and pay a little more. my brother and his college friends used to do credit card roulette. everyone throws in their cards, the waiter picks one out. depending on the rules of the night, if your card get picked then you're exempt from paying OR you're paying for the full tab.

no girl cries over some BS cant hang out with friends guilt sh*t, in my experiences guilt for any reason she gives = guilt of having done something, and not over my ex means he sprung up somewhere and she fell for him and probably cheated on you. If you find my words offensive then its probably because Im re-affirming what you already have doubts about. As for her friends being dicks, that sucks but you have the merit of covering. Ive ditched a group of girls after having entirely paid for their dinners for the past three days because they were friends of my friend and then they walk into a shop and buy each other candy without even bothering to ask if i wanted any. YES I DID WANT SOME F**KING CANDY B*TCH BUT I GUESS SUCKING MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF C*CK HAS CAUSED THE FIVE NEURONS YOU WERE BORN WITH TO SMACK AGAINST YOUR SKULL SO HARD THEY DIED OFF MAKING YOUR ONLY FUNCTION IN THIS WORLD TO SERVE AS LIFE SUPPORT FOR A CHILD DEVOID OF ALL COMMON SENSE AND DECENCY. wow that let out some hate.....

sorry everyone

It was ok for me to pay as it is typically a man's job and I offered to do so. I wasn't looking to be repaid but I do care a little about some sort of recognition. I was pissed because they didn't consider me for something trivial when they clearly could have
