Bermini Tailors, Mr. Joe Hemrajani - Page 3

I am not surprised to see this post. I ordered a suit for my wedding from Joe Hemrajani at Bermini Tailors. Hemrajani and the people of Bermini Tailors were fine throughout the process and as part of buying a nearly $2000 suit, I was to also receive 2 custom shirts for free.

I got the suit a week before my wedding. But no shirts. I was told the shirts were on their way. Long story short, they were not. I told Hemrajani that I needed the shirts sent to me, as I left for Knoxville - where I was to be married - a few days ahead of the wedding. Then he told me the shirt was being made in Knoxville. What luck! (and there are actually several very good shirtmakers in Knoxville, so I believed him). I called him twice a day that Thursday and Friday ... he finally called me to say one shirt was on the way.

On Saturday morning, the day before my wedding, a package arrived at my wife's family's house. It was a shirt ... but not my shirt. And it arrive from Bermini Tailors in NYC, not a shirtmaker in Knoxville.

I opened it up and it wasn't even a nice shirt. The fabric was cheap and the collar wasn't the one I'd chosen. And the all the stitchings were machine made. There was an extra set of holes for adjustable French cuffs (classy!) and the label of the original shirt had been pealed off/cut out of the neck.

I bought another shirt in Knoxville on Saturday. And when I called Bermini Tailors to inquire about my shirts, I NEVER received a return phone call and never got through to a person to speak to. So I NEVER got the shirt that was promised to me by Joe Hemrajani and Bermini Tailors.

I feel badly for the guy in CA with the same name!

2012 and JT is still defrauding people. Sorry to hear about WeddingSuitFAIL's recent experience, I hoped JT would have stopped this by now.

Jitender Hemrajani aka JT Hemrajani's operation is a total scam.  Absolutely stay away from this business, if you can even call it that. He uses different company names, but he's still the owner/scammer. Bermini Tailors, Beyond Bespoke, Park Avenue Tailors just a few, all the same ponzi operation. He's a compulsive liar, saying anything to get you off the phone, if you're luck enough to reach him in the first place. "It'll be there this afternoon, it'll be done tomorrow by 11 am, I'll deliver it personally next Monday", are all the types of lies he'll say just to buy himself more time to scam someone else.

He takes your money then never delivers service because your money went to payoff another guy's service from 4 months ago. When you call him, he'll never have your clothes and will never call you back. You'll get voicemail or he'll turn off his cellphone. Luckily I didn't lose too much money, but another guy was taken for $1000.

Then when people complain on forums, he complains to webmasters to have negative reviews removed. And all the negative reviews tell a similar story; non-returned phone calls, no service, if you were lucky to get service it was poor, being lied to, and more. There's only 1-star or 5-star reviews online, nothing in between. So half his customers get A+ service and the other half get F- service? Actually, the 5-star online reviews are BS, written by him or associates.

NEVER work with this man. Don't give him a cent of your money, EVER.

This is a rather old thread and i did not read through it entirely, but ive had the pleasure of working with Nick Torres of beyond bespoke and there is zero connection between him and this Jt fellow. Im sure this jt used nicks business as a shield for his questionable dealings. Anyway just wanted to throw my experience out there. every piece nick and his crew have completed for me receive nothing but compliments

I settled with Beyond Bespoke a while back. I told JT / Jitender / Joe / Jim Darrar / JD / James D. that I would not mention anything online ever again unless there was a lie that needed correcting , or a misconception based on his past business practices. This fits that definition.

Nick was and is associated with JT and all of his aliases and can even be found being mentioned in a Yelp review of Beyond Bespoke as his "Guru". Nick even admitted so much to me on a phone call I had with him in which he lamented about being trapped by JT in a scam where JT ran Beyond Bespoke but Nick owned it in name only and was to receive 20% of the profit. (secret business partners are illegal in New York State) and instead JT took out a line of credit and got Nick's car repossessed.

Nick Torres actually begged me to help him out of the situation he was in with Beyond Bespoke but when I told him he had to go to the cops and the AG and I would use my research to help him out he backed out. I hope he is doing better now and away from "JT". In fact Beyond Bespoke just finally registered as a New York State Corporation on August 27th of this year and Nick's address in Staten Island is given as the select address entity information.

But he was in deep with him for a long time.

Sorry for the thread resurrection ....again.
