What is the most disturbing film you've seen? - Page 3

I recall being deeply disturbed after watching Gregory Peck in The Omen 30+ years ago. Perhaps it was the fact that I was stoned out of my mind at the time. Or that the license plate on the car in which I rode away from the theater ended in 666! Really.

I have a very distinct memory of seeing Poltergeist at a drive-in when I was... four? It gave me fear.

one of the most disturbing scenes ive seen was in the movie Pan's Labyrinth. the scene where the man is hunting, and he comes back and the officer was mad at him for doing so. so he beats him to death? with a bottle but uses the bottom part and starts cracking him on the nose until his bone was completely cracked blood pouring etc. it was so realistic and gruesome. im used to those killing scenes in normal horror movies, but when you see something realistic and nasty like that its pretty diturbing in its own way.

Battle Royale was pretty disturbing. It takes place in future Japan where the government captures a group of high school kids, takes them to an island, then gives them weapons so they can kill each other. Last one standing gets to go home.

I thought Pink Floyd's The Wall movie was very disturbing as well.

Never saw Snakes on a Plane actually. The fact that it was ridiculously unrealistic was a turnoff.
