Hi everyone. I've been trolling the forum for a while but I am a new member and just wanted to get some quick opinions. I'm pretty new to the style game, but anyway here's the look. Pretty basic. Mind you I didn't iron anything yet. I personally think the shirt is too big and i didnt know whether to cuff or not but here it is. Thanks.

I think you may have better luck posting in the WAYWT thread and asking for criticism.

That said, I'm not a fan of the jeans or shoes. The shirt doesn't look bad and may fit well, I can't really tell much from the pictures, though.

I think the shirt is fine, it's a little loose but you look like you have a thicker build and you don't want anything that's bursting at the seams.

The forum would probably recommend darker jeans, something slim and subtle. Nothing wrong with faded jeans, they're just a bit trickier in my opinion.

And I would switch out the shoes for something else. Maybe something clean like black/navy boatshoes. I can't see your current shoes very well, but they look like they might have tassels... either way, the color just gives out an old man vibe. Coupled with the faded jeans, it's just not a good mix.

If you're unsure of colors, stick with a basic rotation of greys, navys, blacks, whites, etc.

So overall
-Shirt: good
-Jeans: fine, just not with this outfit.
-Shoe: bad

good news bad news bro..... bad news first i think you need to come to the realization as i did that everything your wearing sucks.... good news is you get to begin the journey or reinventing yourself stylewise and blowing alot of money.....

like just say for starters... instead of everything you have on... switch it out for a cooler more tightfitting american apparel or alternative apparel v neck... (not deep v neck) some affordable dark denim raw classic fittin jeans.. kill those shoes and buy some cool retro canvas sneakers and add some accessories and id call that a good start...

A richer man I would be had I not stumbled upon this forum, but everything I've learned is invaluable. As for the outfit, I agree with everyone. The t-shirt looks fine for your particular build. The rest is questionable. Especially the shoes.

The best part is that first big purchase. Now that's fun... and the fun never stops.

You changed the shoes and it's like a whole new outfit. Much better looking. Now you just some darker jeans and you'll be in business.

Maybe we should just save them time and just say

BoO/PBJ/CP instead?

Or why not just make a generator and throw in Engineered Garmets, Jil Sander, Band of Outsiders, Wings + Horns, Raf, Nom de Guerre, Yohji, Burberry, Dior, Rag & Bone, Paul Smith, & Common Projects? Then whenever this thread comes up just hit a button and let it spit out brand names.
