Did a search and came up with one thread with only a couple replys. I really like the hunting mocc boot, as pictured and am wondering where to buy them online. Oi Polloi is sold out.

Beams, and Z-Craft has been known to carry some of their products, maybe attainable through a proxy.

Also, if you're looking for a similar styled boot that high-quality and more easily attainable here stateside is the Quoddy Grizzlyboots. Perhaps, you could request a customized upper material to match these, boots and make sure you get the crepe sole.

They're waterproof and are great for the field. The ones with the soft leather soles are meant for hunters, trackers, and naturalists who like to get close to animals without making lots of sound.

Isn't there a more durable sole that would be better for field time?

I guess there are probably gradations of crepe soles, but they don't seem very durable in my experience.

Both the quoddy and yukoten mocs look interesting.

If durability is your main concern vs. quietness of your walk and the weight of the boots, then a pair with some rubber Vibram commando soles would do just as fine.

does anyone actually know what the relationship between yuketen and quoddy is? oddly, my quoddy mocs came with a yuketen tag... but there is also no way quoddy makes everything put out by yuketen.

I just got a pair of the hunt boots in black with a black crepe sole from Bergdorf. Man, these boots are nice. The leather appears to be waxed.
