Hey Ritchee, your Country Rangers look great. I kind of wish now that I had went with the tobacco colorway instead of the multi-toned colorway that I have.

Can I ask what kind of effect the Venetian shoe cream had on the shoes? How often do you plan on applying?

Hey thanks, the cream doesn't seem to have changed the color in any way. I plan on applying it no more than once every 2 weeks or so. Russell mocs carries it along with other products I've been thinking about trying.

Hey Ritchee,

Thanks for the response! I was actually referring to how it might have affected the leather in every way except color. Did it make it more supple? Shinier? Just wondering what I can expect when my own tube gets here.

On another note, I've been wearing my Country Rangers pretty hard for the past week, and they've broken in considerably and now are immensely comfortable. I would highly recommend.

That is way too often. You're going to drown them.

its like a prostitute sale pricing her used up vagina. why on earth would you ask if people want a beat up pair of shoes? wtf ... ?

What an appropriate overreaction, Whatever123. Please come down. I'm pretty sure that the Maine Guide boot can be resoled, so unless the welt is beat, then I guess "beat up" can mean "time to be restored".

The leather was very soft when I got them so it's seems the same to me.

I believe the Angler Moc is cut lower in the heel.

Angler moc also has distinctive X stitching where the upper meets the plug. I prefer this stitching to the ranger mocs.

Is the ranger moc more similar to the quoddy maliseet than the angler moc is? Are both the angler and ranger offered with camp sole in addition to crepe?

Go to www.yuketen.com, you can look at the entire collection and answer a lot of your own questions.

I actually looked at the website already, it's not very informative. I don't even see ranger mocs on there at all. It has categories such as "trad" and "old school". Hmm. Am I missing something here? Was really just interested in knowing how the angler differs from the ranger. Really like the maliseets and am wondering which of these is like the maliseet. Thanks
