Shoe tree -- "Washburn" by Rochester or "Ultra" by Woodlore - Page 2

Thread Starter
And may be another point need to be mentioned is, as far as I see from the images, Washburn by Rochester does not have a split-toe mechanism, whereas the Ultra by Woodlore has. So Washburn would not fit perfectly to a range of widths, which supports the comment of the SF user "schanop" who said that "a Washburn fits some shoes better, but an Ultra fits most shoes better". Could someone confirm whether Washburn shoe tree by Rochester has a split-toe mechanism or not?

No split toe on the Washburn. I can confirm.

Are the Epics alright for boots? I've always used regular shoe trees for my boots, but I'm wondering if I should get these:

All the good cedar makers appear to be in the US. Are there any good providers of CedarVille or Woodlore shoe trees in Europe with competitive prices?

I'd rather not pay for the high postage and custom charges when ordering from US.

Thanks

Bexley is one company in Europe that makes good trees.

I own both and prefer the ultra. I wear an 8.5. edit: foiled by an old thread.

I was looking at the Cedarville store website, could someone explain how each of the shoe trees are different? I want to buy one but I have no idea which one is best or most suitable. Men's Washburn Shoe Tree \t Men's Epic Twin-Tube Shoe Tree \t Men's Ultra Shoe Tree Men's Full Shoe Tree \t Men's Combination Shoe Tree Thanks for your help.

Both are EXCELLENT shoe trees, and if you want to save $10, don't hesitate to buy the Epics.

gentlemen, I apologize for bringing this post back up, but I too have a question on the suitability of a shoe tree for my shoes.
I mostly wear fairly sharp/pointy shoes, as an example please see following picture :

for such shoes, which shoe tree is the most suitable ?
I really like the design of the Washburn and the Epic Twin-Tube, which is more suitable for my type of shoes ? thanks!

Hello,

We would recommend the Men's Ultra cedar shoe tree first, because of the split front and then the Men's Washburn. The Epic may be too wide.

Our current coupon codes can be used for any of these cedar shoe trees.
