I am a friendly guy and often do not hesitate to talk to strangers when I need to. But I don't talk to them just to talk (unless we're both waiting for something together like an elevator). I'll say things to people that are interesting to me though, for example I see somebody with a like car I'll mention it. But yea it's nice talking to strangers it just keeps you in a sociable and friendly mood. Not only that but sometimes you can meet potential friends this way.

I like talking to strangers. It's usually pretty interesting. Generally speaking, the more I casually know someone, the less I like to talk to them.

Occasionally, but it's quite rare. After a few drinks (like right now), I'm quite a nice, fun, outgoing guy apparently

There's never really a chance to talk to people in London apart from the obvious ones such as sales people etc, who I talk to when there's a relationship. Otherwise, it's just the tourists on Portobello asking me for directions lol

In which case you are socially awkward and extroverted?

i agree with oman, talking with strangers is always something remarkable, whether it be good or bad.

I have started talking to random people more just to practice my impromptu skills. It is all practice for talking to chicks though. In CA it's amazing how for we've fallen. People think you are going to jack them if you start talking to them. In Nevada you can't get people to shut up. Naturally, I kind of keep to myself.

Good things to come from talking to people because you never know what kinds of connections you might get. I got some awesome Indy 500 tickets by talking to this one guy in the airport randomly.

True.

Had a bad experience today. I was reading my Barron's and someone wanted to ask me about investments & economics from a real layman's & non-capitalist view point. He could not take the hint that I wanted to be left alone.

I had no choice but to throw-up on him.
