On Turnbull sales - I have heard tell (and this is third-hand, so take with a grain of salt) that Turnbull actually manufactures a separate line of sale shirts, and does so to a different standard than their normal line. They include some odds and ends, as the previous poster put it, but the sale items are actually different than the regular. Would love to know if this is accurate or not, as it would obviously affect the appeal of the sale.
Take it from a former (thank God.) RTW shirt manufacturer - They ALL do it: When there isn't enough leftover sh.. to make the sale look good, they manufacture additional sh.. from leftover and discontinued fabrics, fabrics purchased on sale, and the like. Corners are cut in production on these. I have even had a production director ask me to put his brand's labels in leftover crap that I had lying around. To be clear, I am accusing T&A of nothing. I am merely relating my personal experience as a CMT manufacturer of RTW brands.
