(Brian SD @ 14 Dec. 2004, 09:01) I for one think it looks great. They go well together very well, and I imagine that the camel jacket will have just enough neutralization so it's not too loud.
I agree on both counts. Â A plain jacket is a great idea. Â Similarly, a plain sweater would tone down the look as well.
I agree with both of you...and myself
orbitingio, both the shirt and the tie are from Express but different season, still they may have been made to match. I used to work at Express and have seen them steal a few patterns from Thomas Pink. As for the American Jackass look, I don't think I fit into this category, but I guess I'm a tad biased. I have been wearing multistripe shirts since long before Usher made them mainstream, people used to make fun of me for it. Since they have become mainstream I see lots of guys wearing nice shirts that don't match their outfit. Black doesn't work well with a ton of hot colors, black looks better with cools, but alot of people don't seem to get that and will wear a shirt like this one with black slacks, not too pretty. That I consider Am Jackass. Bright warm tones (yellow, red, orange) look great with earth tones, such as light khaki. That is my opinon of it at least. Eric
