Woolrich Woolen Mills Spring/Summer 2009

Some pictures of Woolrich Woolen Mills S/S09 are getting sent around right now and it all looks pretty good.

Nothing new design wise of course, but the fabrics look great (the parka's fabric in the top left corner is a glen plaid). Even though I shouldn't, I also kind of like the black watch tartan jacket.

But we're missing a FW08 thread! Thanks for the photos robin.

Does anyone know anything about the Monocle WWM collaboration that's mentioned in this month's issue of the magazine?

As we learned last month, Woolrich Woolen Mills honcho Daiki Suzuki is a fan of vintage magazines. So much so, apparently, that his S/S '09 collection for the brand was inspired by old copies of Field & Stream, National Sportsman and Outdoor Life (according to the press release that just landed in our in-box).

to bring it back a current season, i just got my upland jacket from secret service

here's a fit pic

and someone was concerned that it was too "red" to wear, which was a concern until I tried the jacket on at SS a while back
I need some more color in my wardrobe. now i need cold weather

the red/black mix is really similar to my W+H tiger hoodie, which i love

^ Upland jacket looks great, poly

I really regret not buying that upland jacket.

Poly did you get your usual size for the upland jacket?

yeah, i had the chance to try it on last month, so i knew a small would fit great. Which is weird considering the Maine Guide coat I got this season as well is a size XS. maybe due to the lining

a better fit pic

vs a sloppy pic of the maine guide coat

Nice, poly800rock. Anyone know where I can still cop a M in the Upland jacket, preferably in navy or the red herringbone?
would try secret service just in case, the red color is fucking awesome
post #13 of 148
Thanks, man. I agree about the red....I thought it was a really nice maroon color before I saw your up-close pics. The fact that it's a herringbone is yet another cool detail of the piece.

I like what i can see of the pants in the first shot. For some reason the A/W 08 collection was pretty short on pants. I was hoping they would do another iteration on the knee patch ones. I like how they fit.
