I will be in residence at A/V Framing gallery this August, performing an installation with text and mirrors. There will be an opening on the first Friday evening of September, and the work will be up all month:

Looks very cool. I might actually be able to make it on the opening evening, depending on when the Thoroughbreds open at Hoosier Park. Is there something special going on that first night, like a showing or anything? I'll definitely check it out sometime while it's up.

On the first Friday of each month, all the art galleries in Fountain Square stay open late and have wine and cheese and that sort of thing. A/V Framing hosts a new artist each month, and the artist is typically present on the first Friday. Hope to see you there!

Interesting, as so many of your posts here are smoke and mirrors. In a good way. I think.

* Can the writing process be displayed visually? * Are the materials, studio, and the ritual of a writing practice compelling visual art materials? * Is it possible to explore features of a narrative (drama, suspense, dialogue, setting) through visual art using the material developed in my writing practice? * Can the audience be incorporated into the work?
Looks cool. Any more pics?

Thanks! Yes, LS, I will have more pics come August-September as I install the gallery piece, and then I will update the thread.
