Obviously you didn't see BM?Ledger, however, poured himself into this role mind, body, and soul. It was one of the rare times I've seen a film and have been convinced that I was watching the character on film and not the actor. A guy who did "10 Things I Hate About You" and "A Knight's Tale" shouldn't be able to perform the way he did.
He nailed Ennis del Mar even better (on top of "nailing" a couple of other characters). And I think that character was somewhat more complex than [ laugh] ..the Joker (apologies to the comic book fans).he f'ing NAILED Joker
That they didn't give him the Oscar for BM proves how *********** Academy is. Giving him the Oscar for Batman (posthumously or not), proves they are totally screwed.I suspect you're right that Ledger's death will make him a more serious Oscar contender than he would have been otherwise.
