There is a similar seam in the back down the center too! A lot of Japanese brands do this with seams, although usually only in the rear rather than the front. I actually don't mind the seam. Here is a picture of the cardigan in the same fabric. Personally I think the long length makes it look sorta feminine. I probably wouldn't buy it, but I still like how it looks.
