And Mok, I actually like that jacket in blue a lot, although I do share your concern that it may be a bit too short for you.

looks really good mok. blue is nice. not sure about length but if it fits its def your style

Thanks guys - looks like I'm going for the green - my wife saw me looking and said she loved the green and would treat me to an early christmas present. I like both but I'm not going to argue with my wife ;) and I think the green will probably work with a wider range of trousers...

Right now your right. I usually wear jeans and a button up shirt 24/7. I am trying to change that and develop more of a style. I figured I would start with the kolor piece and then pick up some pants and boots to go with it. If they don't work on me I'll just send em back.
yeah seconding shah, I think you posted earlier that you don't have any pants that aren't jeans. I'm guessing you dress more like the model for the R&B jacket, and the Kolor one would look out of place with what you wear.

Thoughts on these MMM GATs?

While I feel that a pair of boots would mesh much better with my current clothes (primarily preppy/workwear), I'm in high school and don't really want a pair of boots; I feel like they'd seem affected. The GATs are much more modern and relaxed but don't work quite as well with workwear-y stuff IMO.

I don't remember from where but I saw a japanese guy's fit pic with that. the toe is pretty pronounced, but in a good way. Im going to grab a pair myself if the price goes down a little more.

KingJulien-

With this jacket I don't think that thin lamb will allow the collar to have enough rigidity to stand up properly. Also this is a winter jacket which should be on the thicker side.

I like thin lamb in some cases. My SS11 intarsia moto is relatively thin by design as it is spring weight. I like the leather on it a lot. I would not want it thicker because I have winter weight leather covered.

The best of those Mr Porter jackets is the stooges.

I have had two of these and they die within 12-18 months. Poorly made IMO

People who've used it for a week give 4 star reviews, those who've used it longer give a 1 star. Look at the number of 1 star reviews, pretty high for this kind of product

This applies to all modern kitchen appliances, oven, fridges, washing machines, tvs, water heaters mattresses, etc.

They sho don't makem like they used to.

Hope you're not the same size as me, then, since I was thinking the exact same thing lol :embar:
On the fence though since I'm looking for a more sleek-ish brown boot and don't really need another piece of quasi-workboot footwear

Oh no they are casual but by no means sleek. You might want the b1119 next to the derby pairs if you want sleek.
