Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)? - Page 2823

Maybe. I have a personal aversion to them so that would be all I see.

Anyway, I still need shorts. I like that these are tropical wool and I've been looking at them all season.
Should I buy?

They look weird when it's not folded down but obvs wouldn't wear them like that anyway.

As shorts go, I like those.

Any thoughts on these Tender shirts?

Option 1

Option 2

number one. has collar, is less like old pajamas. but this is a good color for you.

I vote #2. Love long shirts.

Funny, I like long shirts in theory, but I don't find myself wearing them that often when I get one. This one seems to be about 33 inches long, which is actually just slightly longer than I like shirts anyway, so maybe it would work OK for me.

Less like old pajamas is a consideration however. smile.gif

Option 2 would look great with a hat and a shotgun on your porch.

I'm usually just sleeping on the porch.

Probably more like this in the end

I like long shirts in theory but find them a lot harder to wear, maybe because I never see anyone else wear them in my area? I have a couple geller ones (1 collared other collarless) and hardly wear them.

they're fucking ubiquitous here but they're mall brand ones and always worn with drop crotch chinos or something and a way-too-neat undercut

I agree with @Timbaland . I always think long shirts look great in lookbooks, but I just feel weird wearing them (and I never see anyone wearing them around me). Maybe it's just a lack of confidence. Could look cool with a cropped jacket (maybe not that tender one though).

Really? I love long shirts largely because of how easy they are to wear. The only times I don't like them is if they are wide at the waist (that tender one looks like it might be, esp with the pockets). The Geller ones have a bit of a taper and the high side vents so it keeps a slim silhouette (I have 3), the EG ones are kind of wide but still work because of the pleat under the placket, @snowmanxl's drape back might be my favourite shirt of all time and I had a few inches added to the length of mine (it's probably only a long-er than usual shirt otherwise).
