Thanks, but not a huge fan of the shape. A bit too similar to an orthopedic shoe.

Yoox'ed a pair of Heschung x Comme des Garcons earlier today.

Black suede version of their Bruce derby. Not really what I initially had in mind (shiny finish, thick sole, semi-formal) but it looked good as a spring/summer derby.

Would still appreciate input on Dries derby sizing if anyone knows.

Dries derbies are TTS.

I'm pretty happy with the Church's. Shape is good, wide last. Though the sole is only thick at the heel, pretty much regular derby height with a lug sole. I don't know anything about leather but it seems fine. TTS.

The Newbridge, same as the Shannon except for the sole and that it uses calf instead of binder.

@jet and anybody else that cares (obv not Aux), the OAMC boots came in, the leather in the toe is pretty stiff at the moment so they feel tight on the top of my toes, but the length and width is good. I'm a 12 on the brannock, 12 in Nike, 44 cp, 45 mmm etc and bought these in a 12, so I'd say take your normal size or if you're a half size then go up to the next (i.e./ 11.5 should go for 12).

They are pretty dope, I'm definitely happy with them. Thy are more substantial than I was expecting (I think I was assuming the vibran would make them light but they are still pretty hefty and the leather will need to break in a bit.

No need to apologize, don't worry at all. I like a lot of stuff I know other people don't and vice versa.
Edit: also just realized I'm posting in "should I buy" instead of "recent purchases" 😶

Pair of Dries trousers on Grailed are marked as 42, seller claims they fit like a US 32. What do you guys make of this?
if there isn't a picture of the tag request one and if there aren't measurements then ask for some

I like it, but the print isn't that different from brands you could buy at a much lower price (if that matters to you at all).

a 42 is a women's size though. it'd be a US 26 normally. ask for measurements for sure. might just be super oversized

Price does matter and I am price/ value conscious. I don't understand Visvim's pricing, but I am seeing this piece offered at a similar price to what a Gitman Vintage or Epaulet shirt would retail for. Maybe those prices are too high as well.

What alternatives do you recommend?
