Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)? - Page 2809

Is that a serious question? Wait, show pics of the burgundy first. That may be the only possible dealbreaker.

Agreed, they aren't the same price either right?

They are indeed different prices. If I bought one, I probably wouldn't also buy the other...priorities and all that.

That five-zip is gorgeous
On a side note, I bought a coat from that seller recently and they were super friendly smile.gif

Looks like somebody already swooped in and made an offer, so it's likely too late. I vaguely suspect some postless forum lurker of having used Google image search to his good fortune and my ill. patch[1].gif

your fault for asking when the answer was that obvious >:!

i am sad for your loss, but i cannot fathom what was going through your head when you considered the robbie geller even briefly over that beautiful 5 zip. if it were me, i'd have kopped first and debated later since that burgundy 5-zip wouldn't be terribly hard to flip if it didn't work out
post #42132 of 42796
Yep, same one, and really I should have jumped on it earlier. I think offers have a 48-hour window, and the seller said he'd get back to me if it falls through, so hopefully the buyer flakes. If not, I'll chalk it up as a life lesson.
I almost jumped on it too, only thing stopping me was how the red would work with my skin tone. Hope you're able to pick it up though (and if you do and it doesn't work out hit me up)

Buy first, regret later. That is The StyleForum Way.

Yeah, my main concerns were color and fit since the seller doesn't take returns (not that I would expect him to). If the color is dark enough, it'll work great for me, but more of a true red would probably look terrible with my skin tone (more olive than anything else but not particularly dark). 5-zips seem to be cut pretty differently season to season, and the only other one I've tried on wasn't a great fit for me. This one looked pretty good on the fit model, though.

Also, I can't overemphasize how much I dislike trying to flip stuff that didn't work out. B&S gets zero traffic and Grailed seems to be nothing but lowballers and scammers (plus a 6% transaction fee).
