I was also thinking Victory Sportswear/ Hersey, but they look even more Narc Dad.

I have the Victory Nepenthes ones and like them a lot. Comfy, sturdy sole, good support, good for running. Kind of an understated NB design with the right amount of panels and a sleeker silhouette.

The Victory trainers are incredible. Worth every penny. Much nicer than New Balance and much better made than Spalwarts.

Does this jacket fit me properly? It's APC and I ordered from tres bien in a size medium. It's good in the shoulders, chest and even sleeves. But the silhouette is not as slim in the waist and down the legs - I think it's meant to be that way?

I've never owned a jacket this long so I'm not sure?

They'll go well with beige chinos and your FBI badge.

Woah a slightly shiny DB black jacket, you really need another one! Only buy to replace if you like it better than what you have...

superb0bo save that money for the frank leder one

@1up first pic looks too wide from the waist down, but everything else looks fine, so it probably is fine. if it keeps bothering you, have it narrowed (only slightly) from the waist down.

Yeah, not sure if making it slim will restrict my walking when it's closed?

I'm pretty on the fence with this one. Not sure if it's worth the cost. In general, looking for a black crumply looking longish parka that's medium warmth. Any suggestions, perhaps some that are cheaper than this W+H one?

i doubt it. one thing, you'll probably not button the bottom button anyway, so mobility will be maintained, and a second thing, like i said before, you should only slim it down a little bit--sort of "just enough." it's gonna look weird if it's real slim in the body.

have you thought about the Alpha m65 (maybe with the liner for extra warmth), since that's what the w&h piece is based on and is cheaper?

Oh wow, no I didn't know about this jacket. It looks good, I ono, it's so hard to tell just off of photos online but the W+H one looks more substantial with greater texture. I like the way that it gets bulky around the neckline (similar to the reason why I like the SS memory coat) in a way that the alpha version doesn't. Overall, the alpha one looks a bit limper. Of course, this is no less than 50% bullshit of a response given that im basing off of a computer screen, but still, merp.

Thanks for the suggestion though, they seem to have this at Urban, so maybe ill go check it out in person there. I'll keep looking, I dont think I can pull the trigger on this WH one.

Upgrading my most-days boot soon. I feel like this is the toughest color decision of my life.
