Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)? - Page 2762

Thinking about getting a bomber along the lines of the following but in some kind of suede, probably calf or something else a little more rugged than the velvety goat that someone like Valstar uses. I'm still trying to decide on a color. Right now the front-runners are camel, navy, and burgundy. Camel seems like the obvious choice, although burgundy may be objectively the coolest.

Could probably tweak the zippers or whatever if I want to.

Thinking of these as a more interesting alternative to SeF jodhpurs or some of the sleeker buttero sidezips.  Am I being too tacky; and do these look too beat, or just in need of some trees.

I recently read an article online about a new moon parka from Northface that is made from synthetic spider silk. Obviously, I was instantly attracted, but i do have  few worries about the parka. First of all as cool as spider silk sounds i am not sure how to texture feels like or looks like in person. I was wondering if anyone else has wore anything made from spider silk or anything similar. Also, although i do like the look of the parka, I worry that it may be strictly a performance product. I am interested in what others think about this style and think i could get away with wearing this anywhere other than Everest. Anyway here is a link to the parka  (http://frequentgadget.com/2015/11/11/northface-teams-with-japanese-startup-to-create-spider-silk-moon-parka-jacket/) I highly recommend you check it out.

I like them. There's been a pair on eBay intermittently for ages (a couple of years I believe) but the guy wants $1100 or something iirc and I'm unsure about sizing -- so if you buy these, lmk satisfied.gif.

I'd be hesitant based on the condition of this pair, but I don't know much about shoe care / reconditioning and I'm sure that would get you somewhere.

i have an irrational and unwarranted disdain for all things rick and to go against it would be to go against everything that is righteous and holy in this world.

Yo anyone one the fence about one of these Le Labourer jackets should just buy one. Picked one up from @habitant and I like it soooo much.

This is not me at a macbook with a latte in my French work coat. But it's the same jacket I have.
