That's probably under pricing them tbh. Some fabrics can double that price.

All the pairs that I got were in that range. The heavy canvas ones were about €650 before VAT.

Which other materials were you referring to?

I was under the impression the heavy canvas were a little over €800 when I asked Holger. The irish wool, and wool/cotton blends were around the same price.

The profile and the lacing attracted me.  I never lace my boots up all the way, and I know that a lot of people don't either.  I definitely never use any of my speedhooks, and I like things a little messy, and I'm nearly certain that that was the inspiration for that part of the design.  Otherwise, it's just a fairly standard combat boot shape with a crazier sole.  But yeah, I am not that in love with them, which is why I asked.  I think that at 70-80% off, and they might just reach that, it would be a no brainer for me, but seeing that I can get brand new Guidi derbies for about the price they are at now, and a bunch of other makers at wholesale or cost, I'm pretty sure that I am not going to get these right now, going into actual summer, when I am in low tops most of the time, and hightops some of the time, and I already have plenty of both.

I probably will pick up a pair of minimalist runners, maybe Common Projects, probably ETQ Amsterdam, as well as the Styleforummarket Viberg MTO (speaking of which, I need to tally up the order this morning to get it sent in.)

It just looks like shitty leather, like most margiela footwear of the past few years.

used SS moth cardigan. Yes it has a hood but is it okay if I live in cold weather?

Now that I'm out of hospital, I'm going shopping today!!!

Yippee

2 year clothing ban forgotten as I might not survive that long

Hope to be posting on recent purchases later today!

Will be shattered but worth it...smile.gif

But not sure what to buy, as I haven't bought clothes since May 3rd and don't have the energy to try on all of my clothes to see what I'm missing...

Will update later.smile.gif

You are right, but when I was aat Solis, in Lyon (disappointingly, they only sold women's clothing.  Really nice, but still), I saw the women's covered belts, and they were really nice.  Actually, if you guys see the mens version, especially in grey or light brown, hit me up.  Size 90, probably; maybe 85.

Margiela footwear is just wildly inconsistent, ranging from being on par with the best of the SW&D brands to being more on the level of something that retails for $300-$500. I wouldn't say that it's "mostly shitty leather."
