That's probably under pricing them tbh. Some fabrics can double that price.
The profile and the lacing attracted me. I never lace my boots up all the way, and I know that a lot of people don't either. I definitely never use any of my speedhooks, and I like things a little messy, and I'm nearly certain that that was the inspiration for that part of the design. Otherwise, it's just a fairly standard combat boot shape with a crazier sole. But yeah, I am not that in love with them, which is why I asked. I think that at 70-80% off, and they might just reach that, it would be a no brainer for me, but seeing that I can get brand new Guidi derbies for about the price they are at now, and a bunch of other makers at wholesale or cost, I'm pretty sure that I am not going to get these right now, going into actual summer, when I am in low tops most of the time, and hightops some of the time, and I already have plenty of both.
I probably will pick up a pair of minimalist runners, maybe Common Projects, probably ETQ Amsterdam, as well as the Styleforummarket Viberg MTO (speaking of which, I need to tally up the order this morning to get it sent in.)
You are right, but when I was aat Solis, in Lyon (disappointingly, they only sold women's clothing. Really nice, but still), I saw the women's covered belts, and they were really nice. Actually, if you guys see the mens version, especially in grey or light brown, hit me up. Size 90, probably; maybe 85.
