I need a good warm winter jacket, as I live in Toronto Canada. This Calgary jacket seems a bit nicer than the standard Canada Goose Expedition jacket, which is pretty bulky. CG is known for being warm as heck.

Thoughts? Buy it? Pass on it? I'd love to hear any other Jacket recommends.
I have this exact jacket in a S, but I find myself wearing my Chateau Parka from Canada Goose in a xs (which fits a tiny bit tighter but about the same as the S calgary jacket) not because it's more stylish but it's warmer for sure. The Calgary jacket though is definitely very nice and should work for a Toronto winter, I live in Winnipeg which is much colder...

I was at a Goodwill store today flipping through the sport coats. I've never actually bought clothing at a thrift store but sometimes get curious that I might find something. Usually I don't see anything even close to my size, but today I saw a brown corduroy blazer that looked and fit great. It was a two-button with side vents. The tags said it was "Jacobs by Marc Jacobs," tagged size Small, and the buttons were MJ monogrammed, like the picture below (not my picture, should have thought of that though). M and J down the front, MJMJ on the working sleeve buttons.

I didn't think to check the price, but can pass by there again tomorrow. Should I buy? And how much should I be willing to spend?

it's a goodwill, how much could it possibly cost dear styleforum: i was at the grocery store today and i saw some medium ground beef. i thought i could make some burgers with it, but maybe i should get lean ground beef and make a pasta with it instead. oh god sf what do i do help me im lost without you

get the medium and make a pasta with that, the extra fat will taste delicious

Personally I'm partial to the medium ground, the thickness is really necessary to create a nice chunky burger or a mean bolognese. I've also heard that buying lean meat can make you a 'girly man', which could be a problem if you're looking to impress a special someone with your masculinity, such as a girl you want to have copious amounts of sex.

I know W+H has a good reputation here, but I was wanting second opinions of this pattern, or other suggestions for a slim hoodie that isn't black or other solid dark colour.

I would wear the shit out of that hoodie.

So I'm thinking about getting a surplus peacoat, as it looks good, is very warm, and doesn't cost that much. Ye or nay?

If it fits, get it.

I cannot imagine that I am the only one who thinks that these are, without a doubt, some of the ugliest shoes ever seen on this forum. I don't care how much they cost on ebay or whatever, and I dunno why they have been popping up in this thread lately as I cannot imagine any situation in which they could look even halfway decent. So to anyone considering the idea of purchasing these shoes, please leave them be and do not buy them!

Ralph Lauren (without any stupid pony logo) wool toggle sweater.
71% wool, 15% merino wool, 13% alpaca, 1% silk

That is a pretty cool sweater, although I think it runs the risk of looking a little feminine with the side-toggles and the pattern so far over the shoulders, if that makes sense. Almost looks like the guy is wearing a shawl. lol at the JSxTBC shoe hate I know some guys picked them up, so we'll see if they pop up in WAYWTs.

I'm seriously considering buying the Pipe Leg in Gray jeans by Spurr from Farinelli's. Has anyone had any experience with Spurr or know how they run, fit-wise? Furthermore, what would be best to pair them with; I was thinking chukkas.
