@C4est but that doesn't have a denim look to it. It looks more like a moleskin or a linen

what's the label and s2s measurement? i like it.

and what's the price point on the big john jackets (don't see them online)? i friggin love the denim on my big john x n&f jeans.

A. Sauvage and it's just overdyed denim, or maybe garment dyed, or maybe just both the warp and weft were dyed.  I really don't know.

FWIW I do actually wear a couple of fisherman's/bucket hats already, so I know how stupid they look and I'm OK with it. This one has a great shape.

Downside is it's >$100

Same gunjo denim as NFXBJ

and also totally sold out...

fuck it, might just buy a eg shirt jacket. i wear too much denim for an indigo jacket to really make sense.

edit - actually, fuck, i have no money and shouldn't be copping anything.

Nonnative at Maas and Stacks--meant to link.

Mikey, olive drab is like my favorite color but nothing inherently wrong with indigo and indigo. One possible rec is vintage. Lots of nice vintage denim jackets on ebay/etsy. Look for levis, wrangler, lee, etc. plus old RL Polo brands. Obv check measurements. Old Levis jackets usually don't leave much allowance--ie a sz 40 jacket will have a 40 inch chest.

Some bucket hats with small brims look better if you roll up the back and fade front like a fedora.

And $125's not terrible. You can easily drop twice or thrice on a designer, which isn't hard to do when you realize there aren't cheaper equivalents.

Shore, fwiw I like the shape and the material, but personally I would be torn between the navy and the olive. I like the olive a little better but I think the navy would be easier to wear without looking too matchy-matchy (from what I remember of your fits you have a lot of olive stuff).

nonnative hats are well made, but $125 is kind of steep for that... I purchased a few straw/paper hats from nonnative around the same price and in the end I couldn't justify keeping them. I am also cheap and lonely and only wore my hats while gardening and it didn't make sense to really have a $125 gardening hat.
