thanks. going to go back over today to check it out. i like the idea of a sports coat--I can dress up jeans or a pair of slacks if needed. Maybe I just need to find the right knit but nothing I have really dresses up an outfit the same way, and I often find sweaters too hot. The trouble for sports coat is color. Grey seems good with jeans but obviously not with grey slacks. Blue is good with grey slacks but is a bit prep, and also might look funny with jeans. maybe hold out for something in brown like a brown tweed, or maybe i'll kop this.

I was in Barney's today, and had difficulty deciding between a Band of Outsiders No Bunk! No Junk! collection bomber jacket and a Jil Sander double breasted peacoat. I ended up going with the double breasted peacoat, but am debating on whether or not to head back tomorrow to pick up the bomber jacket as well.

Any thoughts on how it fits? The fit in the chest is great. I'm just concerned that it's a bit too long for how a leather jacket should fit.

Apologies in advance for the poor photo quality.

E Strand? Solid dress shoe for the price? They're currently on sale for $200

where? for that price, I'd say pretty solid. some people hate on AE, but if you can't afford Alden I think it's a good way to go.

From the Silent pre-order:

Was thinking aubergine for all three. Stupid to get all one color?

Probably, though Aubergine is my favorite color in the palette so I can totally see why you would want it. I think some greys would be cool too

Agreed. Just seems like other colors - grey in particular - would be easy to come across basically whenever.

Ok, there's probably not a lot of "surma print" floating around, but other than that.
