They're really strict about selling online, no webshops, no listing prices on blogs, etc. I also don't know what is going on with their menswear lately, unless I'm mistaken, they didn't produce much this year - only unisex pieces in mens sizes. If you're into the aesthetic, the quality of their stuff is wonderful. My wife's outerwear is mostly from A&S.

They have a list of stockists online: http://www.arts-science.com/en/shoplist/stockist_list/

There's a pair of dork shadow jeans I want, sold out in most sizes, but price is like $460. I can't wrap my head around spending that much on jeans. I don't know who else carries them and I couldn't find this particular pair anywhere else via Google. They look perfect in the for pics. What do? frown.gif

I've been feeling this with quite a bit of stuff this season. Half the stuff I wanted is already sold out and contemplated ridiculous retail on the rest of the stuff. Thankfully I just waste money on shoes so I don't end up buying anything

I've been really conflicted. Model pics look perfect, but it's not like theyre some heritage repro special denim whatever jeans. What in the world justifies that price? I do like the idea of only buying a few things each season that I really like rather than sweeping through sales, but it still gives me pause.

Also, started emailing about mto viberg. It's clear my taste and the viberg buying SF collective taste differ, so just going to have to bite the bullet on cost there.

I feel like it's a no-brainer, but anyone have any strong feelings either way? I tried it on the other day and loved it, but the back was flaring out like crazy. It's probably just how EG is cut, but I wasn't sure if that meant I should size up.

not sure how much my opinion matters, but i say go for it. i'm lusting after one myself, although it's tough to find one in my size at the same time i have proper funds. probably going to have to nut up and buy at retail eventually.

you're over thinking...stop trying to justify it. if you want them, and have the money, why not? gotta let yourself have things sometimes

If it's just jeans, and not like the memphis cargos or something, they are not worth the money. Have you tried them on? Sizing is seriously wack as well. I've seen no two pairs that fit alike.

no eg always has a back flare. that jacket probably has a slimmer silhouette than most, too.

I guess, just seems like there's much better ways to spend that much money than jeans confused.gif

This is part of my fear. I have not, but I do believe there is a return policy. I'll keep browsing for other stockists and see what I can come up with...

Any suggestions for far better sneakers in the same kinda price range?

The EG jacket is cool. Buy it. Buy it now, or regret it forever

I'm worried I won't find it anywhere on sale. I'll probably just get it at retail. facepalm.gif

The silhouette was pretty slim, yeah. Can a tailor work that back flare out, or is it better to just let it go?

I'm pretty sure I'll get it. Don't think I'd regret it, uh, forever though. shog[1].gif
